The YSI EMM550 Buoy is suitable for use in oceans and rivers and offers an Environmental Monitoring Module which provides 550lbs of buoyancy for monitoring lakes, rivers and coastal areas.

The buoy will support a large range of instrumentation including radio or cellular telemetry hardware, data acquisition systems meteorological sensors and the YSI 6-series multiparameter range.
