YSI to launch 2 major new products at WWEM 2008
YSI Hydrodata will launch new products for water
quality measurement and river flow monitoring at this year's WWEM
event in Telford on 5/6th November.
River discharge and bathymetry
YSI SonTek will also unveil an exciting new River Surveyor instrument
employing the latest Acoustic Doppler Profiler (ADP) technology.
The new device will operate an incredible 9 beams and provide a
host of new features which deliver superb accuracy across the range
of riverine conditions from 15cm to 80m depth.
Water quality
The new 'big 4' (temp, conductivity, pH and dissolved oxygen) model
from the 'Professional' range of water quality meters will feature
on YSI's stand (No. 68) in addition the V2 multiparameter long-term
water quality monitoring sondes.
YSI Regional Director Darren Hanson says, “The Professional
Series is fantastic news for anyone involved with field or lab water
quality measurements. As market leader, we have benefited from the
feedback of a massive customer base and as a result we have built
many new features into these new relatively inexpensive meters.”
YSI will also run a Workshop at 12 noon in room 4 entitled: 'Raw
Water Intake Monitors - A Lower Cost Alternative' which will highlight
the many advantages that users have gained from YSI's monitoring
systems.
