“Clean Sweep”EDS upgrade now available for 6920, 6820, and 6600 models

The EDS self-cleaning wiper system improves accuracy and extends deployment time, and can now be retrospectively fitted to existing sondes.

YSI sondes are capable of measuring a large number of parameters, and the extended deployment facility coupled with large memory capacities, make these instruments ideal for longer term deployment, even in the harshest of environments.

Large numbers of these sondes are currently in use all over the UK and it is anticipated that most users will want to upgrade their sondes with ‘Clean Sweep’.

Sondes should be returned to YSI Hydrodata’s European Headquarters in Letchworth for upgrade at costs from £1050.

The EDS upgrade includes:

• new bulkhead with wiper
• new flat head pH sensor
• calibration and service check
• new software

Once upgraded, site visit and consumable costs will be significantly reduced.
